SAFE Homes Rape Crisis Coalition
To build community awareness by providing information on the dynamics and prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault/Abuse; To provide treatment and supportive services to child and adult victims of Sexual Assault/Abuse or Domestic Violence; To provide temporary emergency shelter to victims of Domestic Violence and their dependent children; To advocate at local, state, and federal levels on behalf of victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault//Abuse and to coordinate community resources to alleviate the suffering of these victims.
Spartanburg Humane Society - Animal Assisted Therapy Program
To share the rewards of animal companionship with seniors in long-term care facilities through visits with registered animal assistance teams, and to highlight the impact pets, including shelter alumni, can have in our community.

Has a dual purpose of engaging persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs, and provide a high quality experience that will enrich the volunteer’s life.
The Haven
We provide homeless families and women shelter and support services in order to facilitate their transition to stable living. With guidance, connection to important community resources and the acquisition of critical life management skills through our Daily Living Skills program, Haven residents can obtain and maintain stable housing.
Camp Sertoma of South Carolina
Camp Sertoma of South Carolina was adopted as the Sertoma Clubs of South Carolina state-wide sponsorship in 1974. The camp is located at the Clemson University Outdoor Laboratory on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina. Each summer over 240 children get to experience a life-changing week of fun, development and esteem-building activities galore. The Uptown Sertoma Club sends at least 4 campers to camp each summer.
